Description:
Class 41 Warship D601 Ark Royal survived for over 10 years at the Barry Island scrapyard of Dai Woodham. The last survivor of her small class, she was cut up in June 1980, despite efforts to save her as over 200 of the steam locomotives at the same site were ultimately saved.
