Title:
BO 2-8-8-4 #7610 - Baltimore & Ohio
Description:
Near the peak of steam locomotive perfection, this massive 2-8-8-4 Yellowstone type steam locomotive was built by Baldwin in 1944 as BO #7610 (serial #70072). It served well until being pushed off the roster by diesels. To make room for the diesels on the roster, the loco was renumbered BO #660 in 1956. It lasted until being scrapped in 196. No date, location or photographer was listed for this photo.
