Number 463 was built in January 1950 as CB&Q E8 9940B (c/n 9680) on EMD Order 2012, became BN 9933 sometime after March 2, 1970, was conveyed to Amtrak August 1, 1972 becoming AMTK 332, later renumbered to 463 (2nd) to make room for the newly arriving F40's. It appears to be out of service on this photo date, judging by the shot-out windows.
