Description:
One of the last Alco S2's to be ordered, MILW #1855 (serial #76749) served the Milwaukee Road for nearly 17 years before being traded into EMD in 1966 for a new GP40. The loco was renumbered sometime in its life to MILW #845. Specs - 10-AS class, 1000 hp, engine weight of 233,000 lb. Unknown photographer.
